If you’re a fan of Star Wars, Lego Toys, or both, this set can be a collector’s dream. Kids can also love this Star Wars theme set, which gives them the opportunity to build their own Imperial V-Wing Starfighter from ’Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith’. This full set was released in 2011. The included minifigures in the box include a “bad guy” pilot and an R2-Q2 Astromech Droid. Lego fans young and old can place the pilot in the black and gray V-Wing Starfighter and reenact full battles from the movie. In Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, V-Wing fighters escorted Emperor Palpatine’s shuttle to his medical facility to check on the newly armored Lord Vader, as well as patrolling the full construction area for the Death Star. This precursor is a previous fighter version to the famous TIE-Fighter type ship can provide hours of fun to fans of any age. The set has 139 bricks and pieces, and the black and gray V-Wing Starfighter measures a full 9 inches long when assembled. The Lego 7915 Imperial V-Wing Starfighter set is intended for ages 7 – 12, but can be used by younger ages with an adult to show them some parts. Due to small pieces, this set is not for children under 3 years. Once assembled, the Lego 7915 Star Wars Imperial V-Wing Starfighter has a hinged cockpit that opens and closes, and the wings on the rear sides are movable and can rotate 90 degrees. The pilot fits in the cockpit even with his gun in his hand, and the R2-Q2 droid is slightly metallic rather than plain gray. Assembling the ship is fairly straightforward and the instructions can be easy to use. Using the instruction guide, the set may take 30 minutes to an hour for building, depending on the skill of the builder. There are also decals to apply to the Lego Imperial V-Wing Starfighter to make it look more realistically like its movie counterpart. If children play with it and fly into battle, they should be careful with the wings. Since they are movable, they can get jarred and fall off during play. If you plan to display the Lego Imperial V-Wing Starfighter, you will need a stand. The Starfighter does not include landing gear or a stand, but it’s simple to get one for display purposes. This Lego 7915 Star Wars Imperial V-Wing Starfighter can make a great addition to any Lego or Star Wars collection. If you know someone who loves Lego toys or Star Wars, this Lego Imperial V-Wing Starfighter building kit could make the perfect gift. Whether it’s intended for play or for display, the Lego Star Wars Imperial V-Wing Starfighter kit can make a great gift for any collector and a great addition to any collection. Even a long time Star Wars collector can be impressed with this sleek starfighter. If you have other Lego Star Wars sets, you can set up battles between this ship and the Jedi, or have the Jedi battle the droid independently. Either way, you can have tons of fun!
